<p> Tropicana Entertainment Inc. (the “Company”) announced today that Lighthouse Point Casino in Greenville, Mississippi, will be expanded and rebranded as Trop Casino Greenville.  </p>

<p>Expected to debut in early May 2012, Trop Casino Greenville will feature a new land-side casino floor with new gaming machines, an improved dining experience at the new Big Waters Grille and other renovations to create a new and improved entertainment experience for customers in the Greenville region.  The Company estimates that the expansion of Lighthouse Point Casino into Trop Casino Greenville will cost approximately $  6.8 million and is expected to create approximately 120 construction jobs.  </p>

<p>“We are excited to announce this project for the Delta region because we are confident that our newly expanded and rebranded property will help us provide an outstanding entertainment experience, attract new customers and serve as an important anchor for Greenville’s outstanding downtown revitalization efforts,” said Chris Strobbe, regional general manager of Lighthouse Point and Jubilee casinos.</p>

<p>As part of the project, the operations of Jubilee Casino, also located in Greenville, will be consolidated into Trop Casino Greenville and the current Jubilee Casino riverboat facility will be closed, currently expected to occur in mid-April.  Strobbe continued, “We will transfer many of our dedicated employees from Jubilee to Trop Casino Greenville to accommodate the expanded operation, and employees not transferred will certainly be considered for future positions.”</p>

<p>The newly rebranded and expanded facility will feature approximately 550 slot machines and 7 table games, as well as an improved customer experience with convenient parking and easy access to the gaming floor.  Trop Casino Greenville also includes the nearby Greenville Inn &amp; Suites, a 41-room suite hotel owned and operated by the Company, which offers free shuttle service to and from the casino. Additionally, Trop Casino Greenville customers will benefit from the introduction of the Trop Advantage® customer rewards program, which will allow customers to redeem rewards at the Greenville facility or at other Tropicana properties located in Indiana, Louisiana, Nevada, New Jersey and Aruba.</p>

The enthusiasm and friendly atmosphere amongst the many professionals I met clearly indicated that previous satisfactory collaborations between our countries are set to escalate to impressive levels over the next few years”.</p>

<p>The event was co-organised by the Cyprus Ministry of Commerce, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Israeli Chamber, with focus being on the common and sizable prospects of the two communities since the discovery of gas in their respective Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZ). As a result of the latest developments, future business cooperation between the two territories is welcome and certain to solidify within that sector.</p>

<p>The importance of energy developments cannot be underestimated of course, and this is the obvious focus of growing dealings between the two regions. Saveriadou believes that within her area of legal expertise, namely Cyprus company formations, there will be significant growth so as to accommodate new trade and business that will derive as a result of these mutual co-operations.</p>

<p>However, progress and ties within the conventional sectors are also necessary for economic growth, and industries from both communities are encouraged to create suitable conditions for the expansion of trade relations between them in order to realize this growth.</p>

<p>In the trying economy in Europe, Cyprus’ ranking is 40th out of 183 in the World Bank’s “Doing Business Report 2012”, a rise from last year’s 49th. Significantly, a show of interest by Israeli businesspersons in Cyprus companies within corporate, real estate and the tourism industries was evident, as was the issue of establishing casinos on the island. Cooperation within the medical field was also indicated.</p>

<p>Growth in the number of Cyprus company formations will be substantial, with businesses being established island wide to accommodate the varied commerce surrounding gas exploration. <p>The three Presenting Partners for the London 2012 Paralympic Torch Relay, BT, Lloyds TSB and Sainsbury’s, are searching for inspirational Torchbearers, to work in teams of five, to carry the Paralympic Flame during an overnight Torch Relay from Stoke Mandeville to the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympic Games at the Stadium in Stratford, East London. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Today (11/1) Sainsbury’s will launch its public nomination process, the last of the three campaigns run by the Presenting Partners. The campaign will give customers in its stores across the UK an opportunity to nominate a team or individual from their local community who they feel has inspired them. The campaign will run until Tuesday 14 February. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Successful nominees will have displayed the Paralympic values of courage, determination, inspiration and equality to make a difference or push the boundaries of what is achievable.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Sebastian Coe, Chair of LOCOG, said: “All around the UK there are teams or individuals that embody the Paralympic values and make a difference to the lives of others. The London 2012 Paralympic Torch Relay aims to recognise the contribution of some of these amazing people.</p>

<p>“The Sainsbury’s nomination programme is the final opportunity to put people forward, so if there is a team or individual that you feel deserves recognition for their contribution, then I would encourage you to nominate them.”</p>

<p>The London 2012 Paralympic Torch Relay programme will begin on Friday 24 August 2012 with the first Flame lighting event to be held in London. Over the Bank Holiday weekend, the greater Belfast area, Edinburgh and Cardiff will each host a Flame lighting moment and an evening Flame Festival. </p>

<p>BT, Lloyds TSB and Sainsbury’s will also select people to carry the Flames lit in Cardiff, Belfast, Edinburgh during their evening Flame Festivals.</p>

<p>A special ceremony and final Flame Festival will be held in Stoke Mandeville, spiritual home of the Paralympic Movement, during which all four flames will be brought together to create the Paralympic Flame . </p>

<p>According to the editors, LG will maintain its plasma television lineup with such high end models as its LG 60PM6700. LG won an Innovations award for its higher end PM9700 plasma TV from CES. “One thing we noticed about these plasma TVs from LG was their nice, deep black levels,” states Robert Wiley – editor and lead reviewer for the company. “They are going to be formidable competition for large LEDs and a great value.”</p>

<p>CEAG&#8217;s reviewers also had a good look at the Sharp offerings and commented via their web site review that a great value large LED backlit LCD TV will be the Sharp LC-70LE640U. “This huge 70” TV will join Sharp&#8217;s two 80” models in offering exceptional value per inch of viewing area even though its is a lower end line and does not have the best picture quality features. The price could be fantastic.” noted Wiley.</p>

The company notes that this model will have, “The E550 includes 2 pairs of Samsung&#8217;s new and improved 3D glasses. The light weight glasses are far more comfortable and considerably less bulky than many active 3D glasses. The 3D performance on the PN51E550 is improved over previous years. There is plenty of depth in the highly detailed picture and there is less crosstalk an blurring when compared to older models.”</p>
